CAI GUO-QIANG - I WANT TO BELIEVE

Finally went to go see the Cai Guo-Qiang exhibit at the Guggenheim. Probably one of the best exhibits I've ever been too. I haven't been to the Guggenheim since I was a kid. It was pretty sick, they give you headphones and an audio recording that explains and tours you through the entire exhibit. Took me about a hour and a half. This guy is extremely versatile and his work just makes you want to stand there and stare. He goes from hanging cars to realistic stuffed tigers and wolves to clay sculptures of ancient China to synchronized firework/smoke displays to paintings using Gunpowder as a median plus more. Sorry, photos were prohibited. Go check it out, the show runs till May 28.
